2010 Preliminary Schedule
Mon. Mar 1st - CelticFest Kick-off!!! “Breakfast with the Irish” join us for breakfast and help to “Sash the 2010 Grand Marshal” at Black River Café, 213 Huron Ave, Port Huron- Live Radio Show 6-10am, 1380 WPHM - WIN TICKETS to CelticFest Events.
Fri. Mar 5th - “Betty Kearns Little Black Dress” Cocktail Party, 6-10 p.m. - includes appetizers, entertainment, & door prizes. Cash bar, Four Lakes Golf Club, 5810 Flinchbaugh Rd., Kimball, Mi. To benefit Local Breast Cancer Programs. $25.00. Advance tickets only; at Kearns Insurance Agency ph: 987-3330.
Sat. Mar 6th - Grand Marshal’s Bowling Cup Challenge - 2-4 p.m.- Bowl-O-Drome, 522 Quay Street, Port Huron. $25.00 - contact Pat Cogley 987-9100, a fundraiser for Catholic Social Services.
Date to be announced - “Irish Tea in honor of the Sisters of Mercy” St. Joseph Mercy Hospital's “Baggott Street Café”, 2601 Electric Ave, Port Huron. To benefit Peoples Clinic - sponsored by The Daughters of Isabella of Emmett & Marine City.
Fri. March 12th - St. Paddy's Parade Party - Get ready to enjoy the Parade and come out to honor the 2010 St. Patrick's Parade Grand Marshal. 7:00 p.m. At The Port Huron Yacht Club, 212 Quay St. Entertainment by the Strathroy Legion Pipe Band. Public welcome.
Sat. March 13th - Leprechaun Loop - 5K Run, 10K Run, 2 Mile Walk - Blue Water YMCA. 9:00 a.m. For information call 810-987-6400.
Sat. March 13th - St. Patrick's Parade - Led by the famous Strathroy Legion Pipe Band. 12 Noon. Starting at Pine Grove Park and continuing through downtown. Shop, Dine, and Celebrate in Historic Downtown Port Huron. Sponsored by the Irish-American Club of St. Clair County and the March of Dimes..
Sat. March 13th - "Pubcrawl" - Downtown Port Huron - 1:30 - 7:00 p.m.
Sun. March 14th - St. Patrick's Banquet. Our Lady of Mount Camel Parish - Emmett - Doors open 3:00 p.m.
Wed. March 17th - United Way Radio Breakfast Party. Thomas Edison Inn. 6:00 - 10:00 a.m. Featuring Paul Miller, broadcast live on WPHM-AM. Live entertainment. Proceeds benefit United Way of St. Clair County.
